From timeĀ to time, writers leave their solitary desks and actually connect! Kidlit603 organizes and hosts a New Words Night once a month. In this particular picture, writers gathered at Lita Judge‘s studio in scenic Peterborough, where they entertained one another with new stories.

This past week, Erin E. Moulton donated upwards of $2,000 to charities that support sexual violence survivors. This book, written by 25 philanthropic survivors, is working to help educate more people about juvenile sexual violence within the pages of a book and providing tangible monetary aid in reality. Kickass!

Marty Kelley recently visited 5 schools in Pennsylvania. If you’ve ever had Marty visit your school, you know he puts a LOT into his school visits and is able to truly engage the students. In this one, you can see the teachers also stepped up, big time, to make the school visit extra fun and special. We weren’t there, but we’re betting this is one they won’t soon forget.
